Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Algeria

Passport Information

U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).

Algeria Tourist Visa

A valid signed passport with minimum 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry into Algeria and at least 2 bank visa pages.
A copy of the passport vital page.
1- visa application form to be filled out online, printed, dated and hand signed – Click Here. All fields must be filled out.
2- passport type photographs, identical, 2×2 on a white background, less than 6 months old, no glasses to be worn in the photo.
A colored copy of the Green Card (front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
A Confirmed hotel reservation or holiday booking through a travel agency, or an invitation letter from an Algeria resident person (must be notarized by City Hall in Algiers and his ID attached), or an invitation letter from an Algerian US resident issued at a notary public office. The Algerian host must be registered at the Consulate General in New York and provide related evidence.
Most recent statement of financial resources or proof of income (pay stub, bank statement). Must include the traveler’s name.
Proof of address (Valid Driver’s License, Utility Bill, Bank or credit card statement, insurance policy or bill).

Algeria Business Visa

A letter on official letterhead from the employer in the U.S. providing a brief description of the company, stating the job title or position of the applicant and the purpose of the visit. The company should assume financial responsibility for expenses incurred during the trip
A letter of invitation from the host company in Algeria or from the Algerian business partner on their letter head.
Proof of address (Valid Driver’s License, Utility Bill, Bank or credit card statement, insurance policy or bill).
Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary and hotel reservation.

Other Information

Date of issue is the first day of validity of the visa. Applicants are requested to apply within 60 days of their travel date.
