Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Niger

Passport Information

U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, musthave at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Niger for a period of 30 days.

Niger Tourist Visa

A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
1 visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here. All application forms must be typed in.
Three (3) completed and signed visa application forms
Three (3) recent passport size photos
A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
A copy of the onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary
A copy of a letter from the bank certifying that the traveler has at least $500.00 in his/her savings account

Niger Business Visa

A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
1 visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here. All application forms must be typed in.
Three (3) completed and signed visa application forms
Three (3) recent passport size photos
A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
A letter of invitation from the host company in Niger
A letter from the company in the U.S. stating the purpose and duration of the trip
A copy of the onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary
Proof of sufficient funds

Other Information

International Vaccination Certificate:
- Yellow fever is mandatory. Cholera is required only if traveling from a neighboring country where an outbreak of the disease has been reported. Please contact ETS for updates.
