Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Korea
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).
US CITIZENS DO NOT NEED A VISA TO ENTER KOREA FOR A PERIOD OF 90 DAYS OR LESS FOR SHORT TERM TOURIST/BUSINESS VISIT
South Korea Tourist Visa
- A valid signed passport with at least six months validity remaining and at least one blank visa page.
- 1 visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here.
- 1-passport type colored photograph (2×2),front view facing,on a white background, less than 6 months old. No glasses to be worn.
- Notarized copy of the green card (front and back – colored copy) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- Proof of sufficient funds during the intended stay in Korea
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary

South Korea Business Visa (C-3-4)
- A valid signed passport with at least six months validity remaining and at least one blank visa page.
- 1 visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here.
- 1-passport type colored photograph (2×2),front view facing,on a white background, less than 6 months old. No glasses to be worn.
- Notarized copy of the green card (front and back – colored copy) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- A letter from the company in the U.S.( on company letterhead) stating the purpose and duration of the trip and guaranteeing all financial expenditure during the intended stay of the applicant in Korea (Original letter is required)
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Korea (If the applicant is requesting a multiple entry visa,the letter of invitation must state so-Original letter is required)
- Business registration license of the host company in Korea
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary

Mail-In Applications
The Korean Consulate in Los Angeles currently requires:
- Notarized copy of passport bio page
- Notarized copy of proof of legal U.S. status (if applicable)
