Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Myanmar-Burma
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).
Myanmar-Burma Tourist Visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining and a couple of blank pages for the visa
- 2-visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here.
- One completed “Work History” form (attached to the application form)
- 2-passport type colored photograph (2×2),front view facing,on a white background, less than 6 months old. No glasses to be worn.
- A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- A copy of the onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary
- Confirmation letter from the tour operator (Package Tour

Myanmar-Burma Business Visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining and a couple of blank pages for the visa
- 2-visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here.
- One completed “Work History” form (attached to the application form)
- 2-passport type colored photograph (2×2),front view facing,on a white background, less than 6 months old. No glasses to be worn.
- A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- A letter from the company in the U.S. on the company letterhead, indicating the purpose and duration of the trip
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Myanmar
- A copy of the valid registration certificate from Myanmar Investment Commission.
- A copy of the onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary

E-Visa
- US passport holders and citizens of certain countries are eligible to apply for the e-visa. The process is done completely online.
- e-Visa fee once submitted is non-refundable as the fee is for processing of the application, and is not dependent on Grant or Rejection of Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).

Other Information
- Tourist visa
The tourist visa is valid for a stay of exactly ( 28 days )
The visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and cannot be extended - Business visa
The business visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and cannot be extended. First time visitors for business purposes are not eligible to apply for a multiple entry visa.

- $200.00 – Multiple Entry (valid for 3 months from date of issue)
- $400.00 – Multiple Entry (valid for 6 months from date of issue)
- $600.00 – Multiple Entry (valid for 1 year from date of issue)
Applications for the Multiple Entry Visa is considered and issued on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Visa Officer.
Please note – ETS charges a $5.00 fee to make money order for consular charges.
