Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Ecuador

Passport Information

U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, musthave at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Ecuador for business or tourism for a period of 90 days A valid passport with atleast 6 months validity is required

Visa requirements for non-US citizens

Ecuador Tourist Visa

  • A valid passport with atleast 6 months validity remaining plus a notarized copy of the passport
  • 1 visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here. All application forms must be typed in.
  • One application form, fully completed and signed
  • Two 2″x2″ passport size photos
  • Original Green card plus a notarized copy or a valid visa back to the U.S.
  • Bank letter stating that the person has good economic standing and can support himself
  • Doctor’s certificate and HIV test, indicating that the person does not have any communicable diseases (plus a notarized copy)
  • Police certificate indicating that there is no record (plus a notarized copy)
  • Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary

Ecuador Business Visa

  • A valid passport with atleast 6 months validity remaining plus a notarized copy of the passport
  • 1 visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here. All application forms must be typed in.
  • One application form, fully completed and signed
  • Two 2″x2″ passport size photos
  • Original Green card plus a notarized copy or a valid visa back to the U.S.
  • Bank letter stating that the person has good economic standing and can support himself
  • A letter from the company in the U.S. stating the purpose and duration of the trip and that the company in the U.S. will take care of all the financial expenses of the applicant during his intended stay in Ecuador
  • Letter of invitation from the host company in Ecuador
  • Doctor’s certificate and HIV test, indicating that the person does not have any communicable diseases (plus a notarized copy)
  • Police certificate indicating that there is no record (plus a notarized copy)
  • Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
