Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Dominican Republic

Passport Information

U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, musthave at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).

US CITIZENS DO NOT NEED A TOURIST VISA TO ENTER THIS COUNTRY FOR A STAY OF UP TO 60 DAYS
A TOURIST CARD CAN BE PURCHASED FOR US $10 AT THE CONSULATES OR AT DOMINICAN AIR PORTS AT THE TIME OF ENTRY

A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining

Letter of application addressed to the consulate signed by the applicant
4 pictures, 2×2 for documents
Copy from a document that shows your legal status in the United States
Work information
Airplane and hotel reservation
Proof of sufficient funds to cover the intended stay
