Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Bolivia
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, musthave at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee’s apply).
Bolivia Tourist Visa
- Original signed passport, with at least 6 months validity on it and at least one blank page for the visa
- 1-visa application form, completed and signed – Click Here. All application forms must be typed in. (Please upload electronic copies/scans of all the requested documents to your application when you apply.)
- 1- Colored passport type photo less than six months old
- Financial solvency accredited by affidavit or other documentation as appropriate.
- Original yellow fever vaccination certificate
- A notarized copy of the Green card ( front and back) if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- Letter of invitation from a host in Bolivia with legal domicile in Bolivia, or booking accommodation.
- Round trip ticket or copy of travel itinerary

Bolivia Business Visa
- Original signed passport, with at least 6 months validity on it and at least one blank page for the visa

- 1- colored passport type photo less than six months old
- Financial solvency accredited by affidavit or other documentation as appropriate.
- Original yellow fever vaccination certificate
- A notarized copy of the Green card (front and back) if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- A business letter of responsibility is required on the company letterhead stating the nature of the business to be performed and duration of stay. The letter must state “financial guarantee” during the stay in Bolivia
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Bolivia
- Current certificate attesting that the traveler has no criminal/police record; issued by competent authority in the country of origin or last residence
- Round trip ticket or copy of travel itinerary with hotel reservation
