UK Business Visa Requirements
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter the United Kingdom for tourism or business purposes.
UK Business Visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- One fully completed, signed and dated application form. All applications should be submitted and paid for online. You will then be directed to make an appointment at one of the Application Support Centres in your area in order to submit your biometric data ( finger scans )
- One recent passport size photograph
- Evidence of your Immigration Status in the USA and permission to re-enter the USA after your trip. Examples are Permanent resident card, Valid U.S. visa, valid I-20 etc Please submit all original documents
- Employment Letter / Confirmation of Employment
- Please give full details of proposed business visit and stating employer will be financially responsible
- Letter of invitation from the host company in U.K.
- Evidence of funds: e.g., Recent bank statement (within last 30 days), travelers cheques. (Credit card statements are not acceptable)
- Starting June 1, 2010 the Uk consulate general requires applicants to pay priority service fee of $150.00 in addition to the online payment made for consular fees. Please go to " Worldbridge Services " to make the online payment.
