Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Sweden

Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

   

U.S. citizens do not need a business or tourist visa to enter Sweden up to a period of 90 days.

Visa requirements for non-U.S. citizens.

Sweden Tourist Visa

• A Valid passport with at least 3 months validity remaining
• Application for Schengen Visa completed, signed and dated
• 2 recent passport photographs
• Copy of the Green Card or valid visa if the applicant is a foreign national
• Proof of purpose of the visit, evidence of accomodation EX: confirmed hotel reservations or confirmation of organized tour
• Evidence of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay
• Valid personal travel insurance which covers costs for: emergencies, transportation and medical reasons

Sweden Business Visa

• A Valid passport with at least 3 months validity remaining
• Application for Schengen Visa completed, signed and dated
• 2 recent passport photographs
• Copy of the Green Card or valid visa if the applicant is a foreign national
• Proof of purpose of the visit, evidence of accomodation EX: confirmed hotel reservations or confirmation of organized tour
• Evidence of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay
• Valid personal travel insurance which covers costs for: emergencies, transportation and medical reasons
• A letter of invitation from the host company in Sweden stating the duration and purpose of the visit
• The invitation must contain details about the applicant such as: personal particulars, arival and departure dates, purpose of visit, proof of financial support
• Letter from the company in the US stating the purpose and duration of the trip
