Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Rwanda
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Rwanda for tourist or business purposes.
Visa requirements for non-U.S. citizens.
Rwanda Tourist Visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- Two (2) copies of the Visa Print Application Form. You must submit each copy with an original signature
- Two (2) passport-size photographs signed by the applicant
- A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S.
- Proof of hotel reservation and sufficient funds during the intended stay
- Onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary

Rwanda Business Visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- Two (2) copies of the Visa Print Application Form. You must submit each copy with an original signature
- Two (2) passport-size photographs signed by the applicant
- A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S.
- A letter from your employer introducing you and stating the purpose and duration of your visit with your application
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Rwanda
- Onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary
