Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Papua New Guinea
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

Papua New Guinea Tourist Visa
- Original passport with atleast six months validity remaining.
- 1 application form, fully completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photographs required
- Copy of the Green Card or valid visa in the U.S.
- Copy of the airline ticket or confirmed itinerary

Papua New Guinea Business Visa
- Original passport with atleast six months validity remaining.
- 1 Application forms, fully completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photographs required
- Copy of the Green Card or valid visa in the U.S.
- Copy of the airline ticket or confirmed itinerary
- RA business letter from employer addressed to: "Embassy of Papua New Guinea, Visa Section, Washington D.C.", explaining purpose of trip, business reference to be visited, and guaranteeing the applicant's finan= cial support and return transportation

Consular fees
- $25.00 - single entry tourist visa
- $256.50 - single entry, business visa
- 256.50 - multiple entries, business visa
These fees are subject to change at any time by the Embassy.
Other Information
- The PNG tourist visa is usually valid for a single entry within six months from issue date, for stay of maximum two months
- The business visa is usually issued for a single entry, valid for six months from date of issue, for a stay of three weeks
- Multiple entry business visa is usually valid for one year from issue date, for a stay of up to 8 weeks
- Travel for religious or volunteer work requires approval from the Immigration Department in Port Moresby; your sponsoring organization in PNG must obtain this approval for you (allow up to 4 months)
