Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Nigeria
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

Nigeria Tourist Visa
- One application form, fully completed and signed
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- 2- recent passport size photograph
- A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- Invitation letter from host in Nigeria( with full address ) and a copy of his/her Nigerian passport (first four pages)
- Tourist must submit copies of their certified hotel reservation statements
- Proof of sufficient funds (bank statements, pay stubs)
- International certificate of vaccination for yellow fever(Yellow Health Card)
- A copy of the onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary

- Children must submit copies of their birth certificates showing names of their parents
- Children of Nigerian parents must submit copies of the information page of both parents' passport
Resident aliens inviting friends must submit copies of their resident permits and the information page of their passports.
Aliens married to Nigerians or invited by Nigerians must submit copies of their hosts' or spouses' passports and letters accepting responsibility.
Religious visitors and missionary workers will require pre-approval from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Nigeria
Please note: The visa application form must be completed online only and the appropriate consular fees paid online with a credit card. Please print a copy of your application form and sign the form. Please print the payment receipt and mail it to Express Travel Services along with other documents.
Failure to complete this form fully will delay the processing of the visa. The embassy will charge an additional $20.00 processing fee per visa and an additional $65.00 per visa if the application is needed on a rush basis. These fees are to be paid separately through Express Travel Services.
Nigeria Business Visa
- One application form, fully completed and signed
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- 2- recent passport size photograph
- A copy of the Green Card or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- A cover letter from the company in the U.S. on the company letter head stating the purpose and duration of the trip, name and address of the company to be visited and that the company in the U.S. guarantees financial support during the stay in Nigeria.
- An official letter of invitation from the host in Nigeria
- International certificate of vaccination for yellow fever(Yellow Health Card)
- A copy of the onward/return ticket or confirmed itinerary
