Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Malawi
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Malawi for tourism or business.

Malawi Tourist Visa
- A valid passport with atleast 6 months validity remaining
- Two (2) application forms for visa to Malawi should be completed
- Two (2) passport size photographs (2x2) should be attached to the application forms
- Copy of the resident alien card or a valid visa to the U.S.
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
- Proof of sufficent funds

Malawi Business Visa
- A valid passport with atleast 6 months validity remaining
- Two (2) application forms for visa to Malawi should be completed
- Two (2) passport size photographs (2x2) should be attached to the application forms
- Copy of the resident alien card or a valid visa to the U.S.
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Malawi
- A letter from the company in the U.S. stating the purpose and duration of the visit
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
- Proof of sufficent funds
