Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Latvia
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Latvia for a period of 90 days.
Latvia Tourist Visa
- A valid passport with atleast 6 months validity remaining
- One completed and signed visa application form
- 1-passport type photographs
- A copy of the permanent resident card (green card) or a valid visa
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
- Proof of sufficent funds and hotel reservation
- A valid health insurance policy for travel outside the US covering all costs referring to medical care during the stay in Latvia including the transportation costs from Latvia to the place of permanent residence of the individual in case of his/her severe medical condition or death

Latvia Business Visa
- A valid passsport with atleast 6 months validity remaining
- One completed and signed visa application form
- 1 passport type photograph
- A copy of the permanent resident card (green card) or a valid visa
- Number of invitation registered by the department of Citizenship and Migration Affairs of the interior ministry, or its territorial division
- A letter from the company in the US stating the purpose and duration of the trip
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
- A valid health insurance policy for travel outside the US covering all costs referring to medical care during the stay in Latvia including the transportation costs from Latvia to the place of permanent residence of the individual in case of his/her severe medical condition or death
