India Business Visa Requirements
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).
India Business Visa
- Valid passport with 6 months validity remaining
- 1-Visa application form, fully completed and signed( please fill online and print )
- 2 identical passport type photographs, not more than six months old
- Copy of valid green card or US visa
- Copy of the onward/return journey or itinerary
- Include a letter from the parent sponsoring organization in the United States on company letterhead indicating the nature of the applicant's business, probable duration of stay, validity of visa applied for (1 Year, 5 Year or 10 Year), places and organizations to be visited, and a guarantee to meet maintenance expenses
- Include a letter from the sponsoring organization in India on company letterhead indicating the nature of applicant's business, probable duration of stay, the validity of visa applied for (1 Year, 5 Year or 10 Year), places and organizations to be visited, and a guarantee to meet maintenance expenses.
- A copy of the birth certificate or school diplome is required
- Applicants must submit a photocopy with proof of residence/address that matches the address on the visa application exactly. Photocopy of state issued ID (Driver License or ID), or major utility bill (Water, Gas, Electric, Sewage) must be submitted. The following items are not accepted: cell phone bill, credit card statement, bank statement or lease. The address cannot include a P.O. box. ETS Order form Click Here
Please note: There should be a gap of at least 2 months between two separate visits to India. For business visa holders who wish to visit India within 2 months of their last visit, an application for a Permit to re-enter India is necessary.
- The letter must highlight the urgency of the visit and the purpose of the trip.
- They may not be engaged in Employment or pursuing studies/research, etc.

Other Information
- Short Term Visa Holders: For applicants who are not citizens/residents of the USA and hold a tourist or other short-term visa for the USA have a reference fee of $20.00 for reference to be made to the country of their original residence.
