Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Guatemala

Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).

   

US CITIZENS IN POSESSION OF A VALID U.S. PASPORT DO NOT NEED A VISA FOR TOURIST OR BUSINESS TRIPS FOR SHORT STAY

VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR NON US CITIZENS

Guatemala Tourist Visa

• A valid passport with atleast six months validity remaining plus one photocopy
• One visa application form, completed and signed
• One passport type photograph
• A copy of the Green Card(front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. is required. Original Green Card is also required for verification
• A copy of the credit card and a copy of the photo i.d. is required
• Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary

Guatemala Business Visa

• A valid passport with atleast six months validity remaining plus one photocopy
• One visa application form, completed and signed
• One passport type photograph
• A copy of the Green Card(front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. is required. Original Green Card is also required for verification
• A copy of the credit card and a copy of the photo i.d. is required
• A business letter (on company letterhead) from the company in the U.S. stating the purpose and duration of the trip
• A letter of invitation from the host company in Guatemala
• Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
