Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Ethiopia
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).
Ethiopia Tourist Visa
- A valid p assport , with a t least 6 months validity remaining
- 1 visa application form, fully completed and signed
- 1- passport-type photograph required
- A copy of the Green Card (front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- Proof of financial support and hotel reservation
- O nward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
Ethiopia Business Visa
- A valid passport , with a t least 6 months validity remaining
- 1 visa application form, fully completed and signed
- 1- passport-type photograph required
- A copy of the Green Card (front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- A business letter stating the purpose and duration of the trip and the applicants responsibility for all travel expenses
- O nward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
Other Information
- Yellow fever immunization is recommended and have your certificate upon your arrival in Ethiopia.
- Upon arrival at the airport, you must declare any foriegn currency to the customs authority
