Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Democratic Republic of Congo
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).
Democratic Republic of Congo Tourist Visa
- A valid Passport (for at least six months) .
- Two (2) application forms fully completed, dated and signed by the traveler
- 2 recent passport photos
- A copy of the Permanent Residence document "Green Card" for non US citizens
- An International Certificate of Vaccination showing immunization against yellow fever
- A copy of airline tickets or itinerary from an authorized travel agent
- An invitation letter notarized in the DRC (for tourists, journalists, missionaries and personal business) which should be sent directly from DRC to the embassy in Washington D.C.

Democratic Republic of Congo Business Visa
- A valid Passport (for at least six months)
- Two (2) application forms fully completed, dated and signed by the traveler.
- 2 recent passport photos.
- A copy of the Permanent Residence document "Green Card" for non US citizens

- A business letter from the company on the company letterhead assuming all financial responsibilities for the traveler.
- An invitation letter notarized in the DRC (for tourists, journalists, missionaries and personal business) which should be sent directly from DRC to the embassy in Washington D.C.
