Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Cameroon
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).
Tourist Visa
- Passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- 2 visa application forms, fully completed and signed
- 2 passport-type photographs required
- A copy of the Green card(front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent
- Copy of recent bank statement or proof of sufficent resources to be used during stay in Cameroon
- Copy of yellow fever vaccination certificate

For Visitors
- Certificate of accomodation issued by the inviting party,and undersigned by Administrative or Immigration authorities
- Copy of round trip tickets or airlines or travel agency receipt bearing the traveler's name. Warranty of repatriation is requested when applying for a long stay visa.
Minors traveling to Cameroon
In addition to the above requirements, the following documents are also needed.
- Notarized letter of support jointly signed by both parents or legal guardians agreeing with the trip and specifying who will be traveling with the child.
- If parents or guardians are Cameroonians, provide original passport and copy of immigration documents.
- If parents or guardians are not Cameroonians,provide copy of passport pages bearing photo and validity information. This also applies to any third party taking a child to Cameroon on behalf of the parents.
U.S. citizens born in Cameroon, or of Cameroonian origin do not need to provide a certificate of accomodation.
Business Visa
- Passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- 2 visa application forms, fully completed and signed
- 2 passport-type photographs required
- A copy of the Green card(front and back) or a valid visa back to the U.S. if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen
- Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent
- A business letter stating the purpose and dates of visit and the applications responsibility for all travel expenses
- Letter of invitation from the host company in Cameroon
- Copy of yellow fever vaccination certificate
