Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Austria
Passport Information
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).
U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourist or business travel to this country. Any U.S. citizen who wishes to travel to Austria for any purpose other than tourism or business negotiations (e.g. work, study, adoption, immigration, or stays longer than stipulated in the entry requirements) should contact directly, the embassy or nearest consulate.
Austria Tourist Visa
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining.
- 1 visa application completed and signed
- 2 recent passport type photographs (must be identical)
- Copy of complete round trip tickets or confirmed itinery showing exact dates of travel.
- Valid US visa with original form I-94 & I-20 or IAP-66 (if applicable) or original alien registration card.
- Visas of countires you intend to visit outside of Austria.
- Confirmed hotel reservations or confirmation of tour
- Proof of travel/health/accident insurance.
- Proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Austria ex: recent bank statements
Austria Business Visa
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining.
- 1 visa application completed and signed
- 2 recent passport type photographs (must be identical)
- Copy of complete round trip tickets or confirmed itinery showing exact dates of travel.
- Valid US visa with original form I-94 & I-20 or IAP-66 (if applicable) or original alien registration card.
- Visas of countires you intend to visit outside of Austria.
- Confirmed hotel reservations or confirmation of tour
- Proof of travel/health/accident insurance.
- Proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Austria ex: recent bank statements
- Original notarized letter from your company or from the company in Austria you are doing business with specifying that the company will be financially responsible for you during your stay in Austria.
